CrossFit Level 2 Trainer
Hey, guys! I am Jeremy Garner, and one of the coaches here at CrossFit SPT.
I was introduced to CrossFit in 2012 when the girl I was talking to invited me to her CrossFit gym. Having played sports all of my life including football at Lindenwood University in St Louis, I thought CrossFit couldn’t be that hard.
I drove 45 minutes to get my butt kicked in a workout. But hey, I ended up marrying that girl (who happens to be Casie) so it all worked out!
I started CrossFit to see a girl, but I continue CrossFit years later because it fills that competitive void I had missed from playing sports. I am always down to hit a local team competition!
I knew a lot of the movements coming into CrossFit like the power clean, deadlift, back and front squats, but the gymnastics movements brought on another level to my fitness. It’s pretty cool how getting better at one will improve the other. I am in better shape overall than I was at the top of my football-game because of CrossFit.
I received my Level 1 in 2013. I enjoy helping people with their olympic movements and muscle ups. When they hit that olympic movement strong and solid, you can see their confidence grow. And when a member gets that first muscle up…their reaction is priceless!!
I coach to help people achieve their fitness goals. Coaching is a part of my week that I look forward to every week.
